The Shawnee Golf Course has been sold and the owners have filed an application with City planners to redevelop the 135 acre site. There are two parts to the application which the City will be circulating to a number of key community stakeholders this month. This initial circulation includes a three week window to give feedback. The City, the Shawnee Evergreen Community Association, and the applicant will be conducting open houses to get feedback. In particular, it is the responsibility of the applicant to conduct several community meetings to seek feedback and address issues that the residents of Ward 13 & 14 may have. This application will have significant impact on all of Ward 13, so it is important for you to give me your feedback and opinions. There will be plenty of time for everyone to have their say. In the links below I have included several tracking documents that outline the process the two applications will take over the coming year. These documents are meant as a guide to familiarize community residents with the process, will providing a living document that will evolve as this process moves forward.
